Mercedes-Benz "B" service
This Service is considered a "Biennial" service. The "B" service, is thus, typically performed every other year and includes inspection and replacement of vehicle components Mercedes-Benz has determined need attention every two years or 14,000 miles. The "B" service includes inspection of the items listed for inspection during an annual service as well as the items and systems listed below.
Proper maintenance is essential to the performance and longevity of your Mercedes-Benz and the "B" service is an integral part of maintaining your car. At Star Automotive, we have the specialized training, tools and experience to provide your car a factory level "B" service.
Included in the "B" service are:
- Replacing the wiper blades for clear visibility
- Replacing the cabin air filter to keep dust & irritants to a minimum
- Measuring the brake pads and rotors to ensure safe stopping
- Rotating the tires (if applicable) for even tread wear and longer tire life
- Lubricating the throttle linkage for smooth, reliable acceleration
- Testing the climate control system to ensure your comfort
- Testing the "systems" battery (if applicable) for dependable operation
- Inspection of all items covered in "A" service, plus:
- Leakage to keep your fluids filled & your garage floor clean
- Steering & suspension for safe, responsive navigation
- Drive shaft & axles to keep you rolling along
- Level control system fluid level to ensure a smooth, steady ride
- Power steering system for easy turning every time
- Accessory poly drive belt to keep your car fully functional
If you require a specialized service we can't perform in-house, with your permission, we will take your vehicle to where the service can be performed, retrieve it when complete and present you with your fully-repaired vehicle, one simple invoice and a full explanation of the charges.
